Congratulations!!! Portia, I love reading your reviews – you mix high and low, you’re never snobby and you’re hilarious. Don’t tell any of the other bloggers, but you’re my favorite.

Now, let’s see. I subscribe by email, I’ll join your twitter feed and the three FM’s you talked about were: Bigarade Concentree, French Lover and Musc Ravageur. Thanks!

  2. Mark E says:

Woohoo, go Portia – 50 000 views is a great milestone and well deserved!
Thanks for this giveaway draw – now, I subscribe by email and the three Frederic Malle’s are French Lover, Musc Ravageur and Bigarade Concetre

  3. saffyishere says:

As for French Lover…….be happy to experience that…esp with someone with a sexy French accent. i’m a follower on facebook and that enough? please pass on my congrats to Emma Kate meeting Uncle Freddy…….so so jealous

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

Nice work SaffyIsHere! All present and accounted for. I’m glad you have dropped by, you are in the draw! I will pass on your happy jealousy tomorrow night if EmmaKate doesn’t read this before hand.

  4. andreawilko says:

Finally I got around to commenting on your blog, I have to say that you are totally bonkers and hilarious (in a good way) I have to say I agree with you on Musc Ravageur although luckily I did not see the freshly waxed ball bag (That can only be a good thing from my point of view, not the best looking bit on a mans body IMHO)
Anyhow the fragrances that were reviewed were Bigarade concentree, French Lover and Musc Ravageur which I will never again see in the same light. 🙂 Oh and I subscribe by email and look forward to your posts every day.

  5. anatu13 says:

Hello! I loved this review–it said a lot about the perfumes and it was wonderfully funny! I follow via email, and the fragrances you reviewed were French Lover, Musc Ravageur and Bigarade Concentree. I need to try them all now, especially Bigarade Concentree!

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey anatu13,
      Great to see you again,
You are correct and I wish you Good Luck in the draw and life.
      Portia xx

  6. Congrats on reaching 50,000. I’m a follower via email, and you guys reviewed Bigarade Concentrate, French Lover and Musc Ravaguer. I love BG and MR (though I don’t own either) but I’ve never tried French Lover. That name is fantastic– if I ever bought it, I’d want to buy it in a bottle that said that, and not Bois d’Orage.

    — I have to know. Why does readership drop in August across the fragrance boards?

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Heya GvilleCreative
You are correct and in the draw. YAY!
The readership drops because of holidays, heat and so much happening away from a computer in the Northern Hemisphere, where the largest concentration of readers is. My Aussie and South American readership jumped though not enough to make up for the losses. People are coming back again since the end of August and now we are back on track.
      Portia xx

Congratulations on your success, Portia! You and your guests do a great job on the video reviews; I enjoy them very much.

I follow you on email, and I’ve put the link up on my FB.

    The Malles you reviewed were:

Bigarade Concentree (not one of my favorite Malles)
French Lover (haven’t tried this one)
Musc Ravegeur (I’m with Emma on this one – warm comfort)

  20. poodle says:

Congrats Portia! I love your blog. I follow the blog on WordPress and follow you on twitter, but you already knew that. The 3 Malles were French Lover, Bigarade Concentre, and Musc Ravageur and your reviews of them were wonderful as usual.
I got those samples today by the way. I don’t know which one to start with but I think it will be Fig and Olive. I’m so excited. Thanks again!

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      YAY Poodle,
We love having you as part of out APJ family. I hope you really enjoy the Perfume & Skincare Company decants. I am going to have to buy me some more Ginger Milk, I love it so much I have used most of it up.
      Portia xx

  21. ladyjicky says:

OK Portia – the three are –
    Bigarade Concentree
    French Lover
    Musc Ravageur

I follow you on your blog here.

Darlin, I loved that “up do” you are wearing and my favourite Malle is — UNE ROSE .. you must sniff this one – its a dirty rose – not “old lady Yardley rose” at all – and I am a old lady so I should know !!!! LOL

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

I LOVE UNE ROSE!!! It’s in my Top 3 Malle’s so far. WHAT a Frag!!
YAY! You are in the draw.
      Portia xx

  22. Hello, came over from FFF. Loved the video, I now want to try French Lover, green, wet, star anise, lasts for hours- yum and I think I might run away from Musky Ball Bag, I mean Musc Ravageur, but you never know, if the Musky Ball Bag fits, you might as well wear it. Bigarade concentree sounds like a lovely citrus, something that is starting to appeal to me more these days.
Your videos are a hoot, I hope you make more.

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

Welcome WillForageForFood to the APJ family. You are totally correct. Have you followed the blog, then I can put you in the draw.

Keep up the great work! And, have you thought about posting your video reviews on YouTube? Some people aren’t interested in reading, but love to watch. 😉

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey lindaloo,
